Moral Relativism - A Symptom Of A Malnourished Mind

Song:  Daydream

Group:  Robin Trower

Notice...
I had not said brain.

Moral Relativism is the manifestation of a malnourishment of the intellectual mind...
one which had been starved of simple cause and effect rational thought...
one which had been taught to prioritize the ears over that of the eyes.

A person who readily believes that which he is taught...
without true examination...
is one whom is ripe for indoctrination.

Such a person readily believes any unsupported allegation (which fits his agenda)
without any examination for any substantial supporting evidence
which could lead him to mere caution pending further investigation...
or an excision from the mind due to deviance from truth...
rather than the immediate conviction, condemnation...
and subsequent sentencing in the kangaroo court of his mind...
that such a mind zombie readily does in tune with his zombie master.

This is akin to the saying that...
'Someone pissed in his ear...
called it honey...
and he believed him.'...
and where with but through the simplest of tests
in accordance with a logical examination of the allegation
he could have proved the falsehood...
he had instead...let the noxious fluid remain...
and further, proudly exhorted his new found friend and his 'message'...
and had even felt privileged to have received this wondrous new gift.

He then loudly proclaims himself a prophet to his new Messiah (this 'new' message)...
and is ready to socially castigate any who opposes the message...
claiming from his closed mind...
that others have a closed mind...
and some...
even take it further into the physical realm.

Why do some people do this...
and how is this even possible to effect in others?

The Why

Although manifested in numerous fashions...
it is the result of only three underlying reasons I can think of:

Greed
(The special undeserved benefiting through merely supporting 'the way').

Messiah Complex
(Thinking himself special due to a revelation of a 'new way' of thinking...
a messenger...a prophet...a teacher of 'the way'...
and so, deserving of special respect and other benefits).

Evil Intent
(The manipulation of those who stand to gain in an underserved fashion...
and of those with a Messiah Complex...
due to his lust for power to feed his God Complex;
the wanting to have the subservience of...
and the power of life and death over, all).

In all...
it is to receive special privileges, tangible or otherwise...
through the easy path of merely the spoken word.

In operation...
it is more a matter of complicity...
rather than that of a conspiracy
(the target and basic means are identified...
the specifics of when, how, and where...
are left to the 'creativity' of the perpetrators...
but special 'esteem' is bestowed upon the effective agents of their 'cause').

The What

The achievement of a desired unjustified result.

The key is the extinguishment of Critical Reasoning
through the establishment of Moral Relativism.

The two are mutually exclusive.

Merely through the acceptance of moral relativism...
all critical reasoning must cease to exist.

It is the automatic acceptance of the mere word of man...
over that of empirical evidence to the contrary...
over that of the observation of cause and effect...
and so, the ability to plainly see logical contradictions...
and over that of the ability to logically extrapolate...
and so, the ability to reason and predict.

Moral Relativism

What is moral relativism?

It is the false belief of the nonexistence of any standard of behavior...
and that all manner of behavior is up to each individual
as governed by their own unique perspective
since there can be no right or wrong...
and so, all morals are relative to the perspective of the individual or culture.

It is of the irrational thought that no standard of behavior
is better than any other.

It is this...
the extinguishment of right and wrong through the extinguishment of critical reasoning...
that is the goal.

Only through this may anything be perpetrated...
and so...a state of 'anything goes' through
the establishment of 'mob rule'
(a pure Democracy only when their numbers are assured to be greater)...
or through the establishment of an unassailable dictator.

In the case of Nations...
it is through political means and the subsequent punishments
meted out to all who attempt to resist
(through the unchecked means and methods
of a dictatorship or a ruling party).

Or in some Nations...
through the absolute control exerted and justified
by a controlling and repressive Theocracy
(of which is ruled by a specific 'prophet'
who is free to interpret the rules and laws
since he is the 'chosen one' of an unassailable 'God').

And...NO...
this is not a rant against religion.

It is against a repressive Theocracy...
one which strives to enslave or oppress all who are not part of 'their' group...
or even one which attempts to enslave or oppress their own.

Even more so...
it is actually my attack on the establishment of displaced values...
ones which do not mirror true morals.

Well...
you might ask...
who determines that which is right or wrong?

That is just it.
It is not a matter of who...
but of what.

A moral is only a moral because it is universal to all.

It is that which leads to the health and wellbeing of 'the body'.

When all of the good humans, now, and for all the foreseeable future...
are thought of as an individual operating unit or body...
it makes sense.

Each individual is a cell in the body.

There are basic operating principles which each must follow
if the overall health of the body is meant to thrive.

A good human?

A good human follows that which the body is dependent upon to thrive and grow.

Well...
this automatically implies that there must be a contrasting evil human.

Yes...
the rogue cell...
cancer.

That which exists only to feed itself and to freely reproduce unchecked
at the expense of the body...
and in doing so...
ultimately disrupts, sickens, and eventually, if allowed to grow unimpeded...
kills the body through its aggression towards its neighboring cells.

And so...
the logical extension...
not all individuals are equal.

------------

WHAT?

Shiroi...
is it your argument that all should not be equal...
that there exists a natural and inherent hierarchy in all humans.

-----------

My reply:

Do you believe that all cells are equal...
that there does not naturally exist in the body...
a means of neutralizing or killing and disposing of any invading or rogue cell
which would inhibit or destroy the health and welfare of the body?

We clearly do...
through all manner of antibodies
and other means of the body to survive and thrive.

My question to you:

If all cells were equal...
if evil were to be allowed to thrive...
what would happen to the body?

-------------

Aha...
I got you Shiroi!

By an extension of your own logic...
then all must not be equal under the law!

Is this what you are saying?

Oh...this is 'Animal Farm' brought to life!

Who is the dictator now?

You bigot...
you sexist...
you racist!
(and any other favorite personal attacks used by the PC Zombies).

Who are you to determine that which is right and wrong?

-------------

My reply:

Goodness knows no sex, race, or any other categorizations
favored by those who seek to divide and manipulate others into a war with one another...
so they may silence or destroy with no more effort than the spoken word.

Goodness is defined as that which causes the metaphorical body to prosper...
to grow...to be in a state of the greatest wellbeing...
for the long term.

Evil is naturally the antithesis of the above.

It is not because I say it is so.

I say it because it is so...
as determined by that which leads to the betterment of the health and welfare of the body.

Further...
a Nation may be thought of as a body.

There are other humans...
each of whom has the same morals governing their bodies...
even though all bodies operate autonomously from one another.

It is when these autonomous beings take on values which do not mirror morals...
that aggression, as opposed to assertion, can be valued.

Were all beings subject to morals...
and so...
then thought of as a single body...
then no values could operate in a moral vacuum.

Only then could Nations be thought of as organs of the same body.

All would operate toward the same goal...
the health of the body...
without being a detriment to itself or to other organs.

One organ or system does not act with aggression towards the other organs
(autoimmune diseases).

With morals...
all are allowed to thrive.

With Moral Relativism in effect...
no 'body' could function in a coordinated fashion...
and so, any number of maladies would strike.

With no structure...
all you have is a pile of sand...
made up of individuals not working together...
and at the mercy of the winds.

With certain principles being the steel girders...
and so...
a strong foundation and guiding structure being erected...
in combination with individual sand particles being cemented by morals...
a skyscraper may be built.

So...
NO...
all are not are equal.

However...
we must all initially be considered as equal under the law only because...
the body has yet to determine where the guilt lies
(I know the true meaning is that all will have equal application of the laws...
but many progressives take it as all must be considered equal...
as per the law).

However...
once guilt has been established...
the perpetrator (the aggressor)...
is deemed evil by the body...
and so, is neutralized (by imprisonment)...
or even killed and disposed of (death sentence)...
to protect the good cells...
and ultimately...
the body.

This is just as true for Nations as it is for the individual.

That is why some wars must be fought.

An unjustified attack by an aggressor Nation must be defended against
with the appropriate amount of assertion to ensure its own health and well being.

War is not necessarily an evil act perpetrated by all involved.

It is those of aggressive intent who are evil...
and who make war necessary...
that necessitate an act of assertion (justified war)...
if the good cells are to be free from enslavement (benign tumor)...
or death (malignant growth).

The soldiers of the assertor Nations against those of the aggressor Nations...
are the antibodies...
and without whom...
the good cells would be enslaved...
and eventually killed...
and whereupon, ultimately...
the body eventually dies.

It is the same for individuals...
and so...
the necessity for self defense.

Self defense is an act of assertion in the face of aggression...
whether it be by the individual...or by Nations.

However...
it is also true that without values accurately reflecting morals...
that the good 'cells' are attacked...
and the body is destroyed from within...
by itself.

This is why morals must be mirrored (fully and faithfully reproduced)
by the values upon which they (values) are based.

The good must have precedence...
and must eventually conquer evil...
if the body is to survive and thrive.

This is also why the good must be stronger...
to always be able to defeat evil...
if the individual good cells are to be allowed to survive...
and so, the body be allowed to thrive.

So it is through this that good and evil is established...
and so, the concept of right and wrong exists.

The concept of good and evil...
and so, that of right and wrong...
is not an artificial construct of man.

It is the true observation and conceptualization of reality.

It then follows that moral relativism is an invalid concept.

Moral relativism is a faulty construct which...
if allowed to take hold...
would ultimately destroy an otherwise healthy body.

It is through the insanity of moral relativism
that the recent actions of the, supposedly, intelligent university students are based.

It is they who had blindly accepted...
and so, who had acted blindly in their moral relativistically based
false belief that offense is in the eye of the beholder
(the false belief that everything is a matter of perspective)...
and not justly based upon a breach of true morals.

It is the insanity of moral relativism that even infanticide was...
and still is, justified...
in the zombitized minds of all of whom are participants in late term abortion.

Moral Relativism
is the progenitor of anarchy...
the supposed freedom from any governing body.

When anarchists huddle together for strength in numbers
attempting to coordinate their plans and actions in accordance to their beliefs
and so, to establish their own values...
they then attempt to create their own set of laws governing themselves
(and thus...ironically...destroying their own false ideological construct)...
so as to personally, and collectively, benefit at the expense of the others.

Never do they establish morals...
as they must apply to all equally.

They are the cancer cells...
or as collectively thought of...a malignant tumor.

Why are the university campuses so rife with the young 'progressives'
(The PC zombies filled with moral relativism)?

My thoughts:

So many of these 'progressives' falsely believe that change is always good...
that merely being the established way is somehow the path of 'oppression'.

NO...
only change for the better is good.

They are still teenagers...
freshly 'freed' from the 'oppression' of their 'tyrannical parents'...
and so, are so keen to favor the almost absolute permissiveness
of the construct of moral relativism.

This is what makes them so susceptible to indoctrination by the moral relativists.

They eagerly allow themselves to be taught WHAT to think...
instead of HOW to think.

It is PC over substance...
of PC over truth and reality.

The allowing of themselves to become agreeable to their group...
is not a result of dialectic thinking...
and so, the converging to a truth collectively.

They gather together because it flows into their agenda
 of supposed freedom from conformity...
the irony of which lies in their gathering with...
and in the supporting of, their new peer group...
and so, their conforming to their new group...
 to their new values...
and to the authority of the group.

To give up critical reasoning is to allow oneself
 to be intellectually enslaved...
and so, easily manipulated.

-----------------

Okay...
enough on the what and whys.

The real question now becomes...
HOW.

How does a parent engender critical reasoning in his or her children...
to give them the ability to nourish their mind?

Simply by stimulating and directing their natural curiosity.

Ask them to make observations of their surroundings...
to notice patterns and anomalies...
to try to establish cause and effect...
by asking them why things are, or are not, so.

At first...
a verbalized rational thought pattern to the child will give him an example to follow.

After giving him a solid example of your rational thought pattern...
a then successful method used would be a directional discussion
(as from a teacher to a student) using the Socratic Method
(the method of intellectual guidance whereupon the student arrives at
an answer through the narrowing of variables by the teacher
through directed questioning in a discussion led by the teacher...
to the point of the student discovering the most logical explanation or truth...
as necessitated by the most, or only, logical path leading there).

In the case of unknown or uncontrolled variables being present...
deciding upon the most highly probable is still the most correct answer...
 regardless of the eventual outcome.

As an example...
it is always better to pick the greater odds of a random event
(and so, the great riches of the casinos).

You may not always be right...
but with the ability to correctly reason...
you may establish what the odds are...
and so, be able to fully justify the decision.

This teaches the child HOW to think...
as he soon becomes the teacher...in his mind.

It is through this method that he will naturally
observe, hypothesize, theorize...
and, in many cases, eventually prove.

This all important means to critical reasoning automatically
brings upon awareness in the child.

The world then becomes a tremendously interesting place.

He will then be on the path to true learning...
and ultimately...
the path to discovering truth...
and so...
fully capable of predicting and controlling his future.

Never will he become a PC Zombie...
never will he be sucked into the world of moral relativism.

Always will he be the master of his mind...
 the master of his future...
and so...
the master of his world.

Alex Wins Gold Again - Local Division Math League Competition

Song:  East Bound And Down

Artist:  Jerry Reed

Alex competed again today in the Math League Local High School Contest...
and had, once again, gotten the gold medal for the High School Division.

This is a series of six math contests to qualify for the State Math League contest
(this was the fourth in that series).

As I have previously mentioned...
Alex had already qualified for the State contest with his score on his first try...
but he wants to enter each one as he feels it will not only prepare him
for the State competition, but for the coming AMC qualifiers for AIME

(AMC = American Mathematics Competition
AIME = American Invitational Mathematics Examination)

Alex knows that competition adds an element of stress and urgency
that merely practicing on his own does not give.

Alex loves to compete to help him improve his math skills...
and to help keep him motivated.

It is not the medals which makes him the happiest...
it is seeing himself improve with each one which does.

Alex said that although there were not so many high school students competing...
there were almost 50 elementary and middle school students
 competing in their respective divisions.

He thinks the big reason is that SATs are going on now...
and many high school students are busy preparing for it.

Alex also said that they had a countdown round similar to Mathcounts...
and that he had won that also

(A head to head competition round based on calculative accuracy and speed).

Alex coming from the competition at the UNR Math and Science building.

Alex thinks that there will be many more competitors in the final two contests...
as many have yet to compete to qualify for the State competition.

Alex will miss out on another math contest in Colorado coming soon.

We simply spent too much money on our recent trip to Japan
to be able to fly there.

Alex was one of two at his old school to qualify for it...
and his old math coach wants Alex there for it
(The Thai exchange student from the Caltech competition, and Alex).

I wish we could go...
we simply have to reserve funds for some other math contests coming later this year.

Alex is practicing hard for coming math competitions...
and as the song says...

'We've got a long way to go...
and a short time to get there'...

Alex Goes To Japan 2016 X - The Magical Haneda International Airport

Song:  Until The Last Moment

Artist:  Yanni

This is my last article on our trip to Japan.

Walking into Haneda International Airport was like waking into a fantasy.

Our arrival at Haneda International Airport.

This was a multi-tiered area of shops, restaurants, and attractions.

(My wife's photo)

Alex wanted to try a flight simulator.

Alex 'took off' from Haneda International Airport...
and 'landed' at Honolulu International Airport...
a little off the runway...
but still landed  :)

We then went to an outside observation deck.

We stopped in at a cafe.

My wife and I had a very delicious Matcha drink each...
and Alex had a Matcha dessert.

Alex was happy since they had free WiFi in the airport.

I just loved sitting and watching the lights change colors.

After shopping and walking around some more...
we went back to the outside observation deck.

I had bought my mother some 'Hello Kitty' items.

This was a unique way of selling items.

I tried to buy my mother a thick quilted coat...
but the sales lady said that all of those particular items
were only available through lotto.

I bought a ticket and reached into the inflated lotto ticket dispenser...
and ended up 'winning'...
a couple of pair of 'Hello Kitty' socks  :)

We enjoyed a last meal before our flight.

Alex loves broiled Unagi (freshwater eel).

My wife enjoyed beef sukiyaki.

 (My wife's photo)

 (My wife's photo)

We still had 3 hours to go until our boarding time...
so we went to the boarding area where Alex could plug in to a charging station...
and enjoy the WiFi.

  (My wife's photo)

Our arrival in Reno...
after a flight change in San Francisco.

My camera battery had died a little earlier.

I had wanted to show the very comfortable
777 we had ridden on the way back to the USA.

As I had mentioned before...
there was plenty of room...
and there was a touch screen which had a complete entertainment
video system built into the back headrests of each seat.

I watched two and a half movies on our way back.

My advice to travelers to and from Japan:

Fly into and out of Haneda International Airport...
and plan to spend several hours looking around inside...
it is well worth it.

Fly on a 777 or a 787...
the difference in comfort levels from a 747 is huge.

  (My wife's photo)

Alex only wanted a couple of souvenirs from Japan.

  (My wife's photo)

 (My wife's photo)

Two days after our arrival back in Reno...
Alex started his first day of the University of Nevada Reno Spring Semester.

He had gotten into his desired math class:

Game Theory

We have been catching up on sleep...
and Alex has been studying.

It is now beyond midnight...
and I have a mad craving for a midnight pizza and an ice cold O'douls...
and I know just the place to satisfy this craving.

All is back to normal :)
