Alex's Last Final - Next Week - Differential Equations

Song:  Walking In The Air

Alex had received all A's in all of his classes again...
with one more final to go...Differential Equations at UNR.

He takes this last final, next week.

Alex thinks he will receive an 'A' in this class also.

So long as he does not bomb on the final...
he should get an 'A'.

Alex is still awaiting word as to his placement on the waiting list
for his first choice of classes to take next semester at UNR...
'Game Theory'.

Alex is having such a good time at school.

He loves learning new things.

The two below pictures are from Alex's last exam for Differential Equations.

He had not only gotten all of the quiz questions correct...
he had also gotten an extra half point for the extra credit problem.

The following below pictures were taken a couple of days ago.

We are having some snow roll in...in a series of smaller snow storms.

We are expecting more over the next few days.

I love Winter.

We had gone out to eat sushi as a celebration dinner
after Alex's last high school final was completed.

He still has one last final to take at his university...
but I think he will do very well on his Differential Equations final...
and we expect that he will also receive an 'A' in this class.

-------------------

In about five months...
Alex will be learning to drive.

As Alex is very cautious in nature...
I am sure he will be a very safe driver.

As a starter...
he will attend a professional driver's education course.

I will then be having him drive with me as a passenger / teacher for several years
as I have him practice daily in a progressively formatted...
varied scenario program I will put together...
including driving under all weather conditions.

After he gets his license...
we will then have him graduate from an advanced professional driver's
emergency car handling course (skid recovery, high speed cornering...etc.).

I will also put together a reference guide book as to what to do
in the aftermath of a collision...or a car breakdown.

Of all things to come...
Alex learning to drive is what fills me with the most dread.

Even though I will ensure he will be fully prepared to drive...
you can never fully account for what the other drivers may do
(even though it may be heavily mitigated by always driving in 'the bubble'
(the open area created by the tendency of drivers to drive in packs...
and the resulting clear zone between the packs)).

As driving in America...
unless you live in the heart of a major city...
is a necessity...
the only option I have...
is to ensure that Alex is fully prepared beforehand.

  1. Looks like you are already getting more snow than you had last winter. Hope you can get some skiing in this winter.

I know what you mean about the dread of having your child begin to drive. But you cannot fully shield your child from every possible danger; it sounds like you will make him as prepared as possible.

  2. Yes, this has been a very good year so far.

I am going to ensure Alex is very experienced under all conditions before he gets his license.
