Alex At The Mathcounts Nationals - IV
Song: World Of Dreams
Group: Future World Music
After the Competition on Friday...
the team had all day at Epcot.
The team all ready to enjoy the day.
We had walked to Epcot from the Swan Hotel.
A team photo inside Epcot.
All of the teams and their coaches were given exclusive entrance to the
Sum Of All Thrills ride.
This is where the riders may first design their ride...
and then board (two riders) the mechanical arm actuator...
which would then simulate the ride as designed by the riders.
Alex and his roommate coming from their ride.
As Alex couldn't eat what they were serving as dinner there...
we said our good nights to the team...
and departed with the other parents...
and headed back to the Hotel for a dinner for Alex.
As we were walking toward the water taxi...
Epcot was in the middle of their fireworks display
over the lake in the middle of the villages of the world.
After walking around the lake...
we got on a water taxi for the ride back to our hotel.
We arrived at our hotel.
We ate Sushi at Kimono's...
an appropriately themed Sushi restaurant.
The lady in the background was a professional singer.
We started with appetizers.
We then ordered plate after plate of very good Sushi.
We then went back to our rooms fully sated...
showered...and went to sleep.
Upon waking on Saturday...
it was all day of fun at a park of the team's choice.
They had chosen Hollywood Studios.
Later that night would be the Awards Ceremony and Banquet.
The next article shall cover Saturday and night...
and then the Sunday flight home.
